What Are Nightly Notes?
- They're the opposite of Morning Pages.
- So they're written at night instead of first thing in the morning.
- They are typed instead of handwritten,
- They're public instead of private,
- They're guided by questions instead of flowing freely
- A completed entry consists of six questions and six answers instead of three pages
- Since they are public others are allowed to comment on them
For an interesting variation on daily writing see 100 words.

Tonight's Questions and Answers

It is 9:37 pm. It seems so much later.
- who impressed me the most today? A clerk at Lowe's - he was super helpful this morning. I wish I'd gotten his name and told his boss.
- what did I do all day? While looking for a piece to a knitting machine I uncovered other lost/forgotten/hidden things like my middle school and high school year books, photos from Army AIT back in 1983-84. I wonder how many of those people are still in the service. I wonder if any of them are in Iraq or some other war torn place. I tried to stay on track.
- when did I leave the house today? 6:45am and then again at 4 pm
- where did I go today? J to school, Lowe's for art supplies, to teach class
- why didn't I get more done today? Not being able to find one little piece of the knitting machine I recently sold and need to ship totally confused me - I became possessed and had to find - well, I did really need to find it - but I could have waited. It turned out to be okay - overall I got a good amount of things done just not the exact things listed on my time map.
- Question for you? What is your current obsession? *email me I keep saying that I'm going to put a board at multipurposewoman for responses - I'd add it to my list of projects.
